Community Living Huntsville
Community Living Huntsville is a leader in promoting an inclusive community for people of all abilities. With all the meaningful work the organization does, its website did not fully capture its passion for people.
As the project lead, we partnered with the incredible team at Reeder Web Design to develop an approachable and accessible website. We wrote new copy to better promote the organization’s fundraising initiatives and employer partnerships. We also restructured the website for improved navigation and adopted plain language for accessibility purposes.
This project was part of a broader effort to develop stronger brand messaging for Community Living Huntsville. In addition to the website, we updated brochures and rack cards for programs and services. This process included creating new copy with client-facing language that was simple and friendly.
In 2021, we developed a comprehensive marketing strategy for the organization’s rebranded Connections program, formally known as its Fee-for-Service program. Community Living Huntsville needed new brand messaging, along with marketing materials to promote its services on its website and social media.
For the first stage of the project, we conducted a series of interviews and surveys with people who had experience with using the service. Based on this research, we created a comprehensive report about the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that impact the Connections program. Next, we produced a Brand Messaging Guide for Connections, along with a toolkit of social media content and a marketing roadmap to roll out Connections’ online content in its first year.
